Patio & Deck FAQs

Common questions about patio & deck epoxy flooring.

How much does an epoxy floor coating cost?

Pricing depends on square footage, condition of the existing concrete, and the system you choose (flake, metallic, or polished). Most residential garage floors fall in the $4–$8 per square foot range. We provide free on-site quotes with detailed written pricing.

What is the installation process like?

We mechanically grind the concrete for maximum adhesion, repair any cracks or pitting, then apply a base coat, broadcast chips or metallic pigment, and finish with a polyaspartic top coat. The whole process takes 1–2 days.

Will it work over old, cracked or stained concrete?

Yes — we repair cracks, pitting and imperfections during prep, then grind the surface smooth before installation. Most existing concrete is a great candidate for epoxy.

Is it slippery when wet?

No — the broadcast flake or quartz creates natural texture that provides excellent slip resistance, even when wet.

Can you do basements and commercial spaces too?

Absolutely. We do residential garages, basements, workshops, retail spaces, restaurants, warehouses and industrial facilities.

How long does the coating last?

Properly installed epoxy systems last 20+ years with minimal maintenance — far longer than DIY kits or basic floor paint.
